Two times winner of the distinguished academic honor in Bangladesh (University Grants Commission, Bangladesh Gold Medal/Award) for academic and research work in economics and business for the year 2013 (announced in June 2015) and 2017 (announced in September 2018).
Three times winner of the most prestigious University of Dhaka honor for outstanding academic and research work (Ibrahim Memorial Gold Medal) for the year 2000-2001 announced in 2006 (43rd) Convocation of University of Dhaka, for the year 2006-2007 announced in 2010 convocation and for the year 2016-17 announced in 2018 convocation.
Post-doctoral Fellowship by AIT-Government of JAPAN Regional Education and Development Program sponsored by the Government of Japan.
